The U.S. might make a bid to host the World Cup again in 10 or so years and Sanford Stadium (Athens, Ga.) may make it onto a list of venues.
I can hardly contain myself. Well, I can contain myself because we’re dealing a potential event some 12 to 16 years in the future. It’s like saying “I’m so pumped that my 401-k is going to pay out big time when I retire,” and that future is as tenuous as string cheese. Hmm.
