A community in Southern California is using an old Ikea building to convert sewage water into compost that they can sell.
The sewage, an externality they used to ship out-of-state, is the leftovers from water recycling. They mix it with woody, green material to make the stuff salable.
The former furniture store is the largest indoor composting center in the nation.
