Sure this off topic, but I love Terence Blanchard. I’m not as familiar with his live repertoire, but his film scores (Spike Lee) are masterly. He’s perfected the soundtrack to a lazy, urban rainy day spent staring out a plate-glass window. Now, thanks to NPR, you can hear him talk about, and wild out on, some incredible jazz.

Still becoming familiar w/ his work.
Why this is I don’t know.
Love the soundtrack for the film, Eve’s Bayou, which he scored.
It’s so good, you’ll slap yourself.
